WARNING: due to recent weather conditions and the suboptimal quality of the snow cover, the Wold will remain open on Monday, March 17, and on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23. The lifts will be closed on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21.
Wold area is open from Thursday to Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 9 January to 23 March and every day in the following periods: from 26 December to 6 January and from 1 to 9 March according with the snow conditions

This is an area entirely dedicated to the entertainment and learning for both children and starters. Here you can learn to ski or sledging or bobsleighing!
Learn is fun!
Wold area is located in the hamlet of Alagna named Merletti. Is the place to learn ski and snowboard in a fun and simple way, even for very little ones! It is a small ski resort, excellent for beginners, consisting mainly of two slopes and a skilift, but it can also count on a magic carpet to experience the first movements with the Ski & Snowbiard School Instructors.
Easy to reach
It is served by a large paid car park or can be reached in a few minutes with a free shuttle service that connects it to the main town of Alagna and from the parking lots in the town.
The Wonder Wold: a world of small and simple off-piste tracks for children
As soon as you get out of the car, the Ski & Snowboard School Alagna, welcome you with specific courses, held by instructors with proven international experience in skiing and snowboarding.Take your “first steps” on the snow using their magic carpet, and then go for the ski lift and its two soft blue slopes. Wonder Wold is a world of fun and not very demanding Freeride routes, suitable even for the youngest explorers all associated with animals, stories and creatures, always to be run with an instructor.
Recharge your batteries on the slope
After a ski or snowboard lesson, it’s also important to recover your energy! Wold Bar Restaurant has a large terrace well exposed to the sun directly on the slopes! You can taste dishes of the Valsesian tradition, without forgetting a good dessert for a healthy snack for the whole family!
