Thanks to the conformation of its terrain, Ayas offers an important network of cross-country ski trails, with a total of 18 km that cross as many as eight hamlets of the municipality, offering an extraordinary variety of evocative landscapes: all exposed to the sun, amidst snow-covered meadows and forests. With varying gradients and difficulties, these trails are united by the wonderful view of the Monte Rosa glacier.
At the Centro Fondo, in the hamlet of Periasc, you will find all the services necessary for the activity:
the Ski School, the rental and waxing room and the changing rooms and ticket office. From here, the rings and pistes unravel and can connect as far as Champoluc.
