Monterosa Ski vs. Monterosa Freeride Paradise

Can’t wait to live incredible adventures on the Monterosa Ski slopes? If you are in doubt about which skipass fits better your ski hunger then keep reading and you will discover the difference between Monterosa Ski and Monterosa Freeride Paradise options.

Skipass Monterosa Ski
The Monterosa Ski skipass let you in to a variety of slopes that actually connect the resorts of:

  • Champoluc-Frachey
  • Gressoney-La-Trinité
  • Alagna Valsesia

However, it is important to know that the Monterosa Ski skipass does not include the access to the lift from Passo dei Salati to Indren glacier, a true off-piste kingdom. This is the key difference with the Monterosa Freeride Paradise pass.

Skipass Monterosa Freeride Paradise
This skipass is the perfect choice if you love off-piste skiing and wish to explore every angle Monterosa has to offer. It allows you to:

  • Ski throughout the Monterosa Ski 3 Valleys connecting Champoluc-Frachey, Gressoney-La-Trinité and Alagna;
  • Reach the Freeride zone with the lift that from Passo dei Salati leads to Indren glacier. This is an exclusive available only with the Monterosa Freeride Paradise skipass.

At a glance, the question you need to answer for choosing the skipass that fits you better is: do I want to enjoy a traditional ski holiday on perfectly groomed slopes? Or more do I want to ride in fresh snow designing my descent?

Last but not least, keep in mind that both Monterosa Ski and Monterosa Freeride Paradise skipasses allow you to discover also the satellite ski areas that are part of the Monterosa Ski group. This means you can also ski in Antagnod and Brusson in Ayas Valley, in Gressoney-Saint-Jean in Gressoney Valley, in Champorcher and in Alpe di Mera in Valsesia.
