The Residence Le Chalet was born in 2005 from a complete renovation of the historic 'Hotel Le Chalet' owned by the Merlet family, which continues to manage the structure.
The structure offers 7 flats of various sizes, furnished in typical Alpine style with particular attention to comfort and practicality.
The Residence is located in the hamlet of Antagnod in the municipality of Ayas, at the apex of the Val d'Ayas of the same name, about 1700 metres above sea level. Antagnod is a small village that is perfect for families: in fact, there are ski lifts (located 300 metres from the Residence) that are ideal for children or for those just learning to ski. For more experienced skiers, on the other hand, from Antagnod you can easily reach the lifts of Champoluc, just 4 kilometres away, a beautiful area that extends as far as Alagna. There are also some buildings of historical interest in the village, first and foremost the parish church of San Martino, dating back to the second half of the 15th century, and the Maison Fournier: a typical building housing a permanent exhibition on Valdostan handicrafts. In summer, on the other hand, Ayas offers the opportunity to relax in the cool and devote oneself to numerous beautiful walks of all levels, from walks lasting a few hours to glacier excursions.
