Our beautiful municipality, nestled in the splendid alpine valley to which it gives its name, can offer countless spots to angling enthusiasts.
Let's start at the bottom of the valley, where the Evancon torrent flows with its cerulean waters. Here you will find the Evançon/Graine no-kill fishing reserve, where spinning and fly-fishing enthusiasts can fish for the multicoloured brown trout that populate it, and the Brusson tourist reserve, where you can practice all fishing techniques and includes the lake of the same name and the upstream stretch of the torrent.
For lovers of mountain walks and fishing at altitude, on the other hand, there are some of the most beautiful and fishy lakes in the Aosta Valley.
An itinerary that we recommend and which will leave you breathless is that of the Palasinaz lakes, where, in the midst of the alpine meadows, the fishing enthusiast will be able to find the Battaglia lake (m. 2487), the Verde lake (m. 2487), the Coliou lake (m. 2605), the Pocia lake (m. 2518), the Lungo lake (m. 2632) and the Bringuez lake (m. 2530), all within a short distance of each other.
Fishing in the valley requires good experience and technique as the trout you are going to catch will be wild fish. To fully enjoy your fishing experience, we recommend that you rely on the Aosta Valley fly fishing guide service that you will find on Instagram and facebook.
For information on regulations, licences and the necessary documents, we advise you to contact the Valle d'Aosta fishing consortium.
